Buying or selling gold can feel like a big decision, especially if it’s your first time. You should be able to understand the price, ask questions and know what will happen before you proceed.
That is the approach we take at GoldGuard. Our focus is gold Krugerrands: the full-ounce coin and the ½ oz, ¼ oz and ¹⁄₁₀ oz sizes. The website helps you compare prices and learn about the coins; our team helps you work through the details of your purchase or sale.
Transactions are completed in person, by appointment. You speak to us about the coin sizes and quantities, we agree the arrangements together, and you make your decision with the details in front of you.

Explore current pricesWhen you sell, we weigh, appraise and authenticate your Krugerrands in your presence. Each coin is assessed before a purchase is agreed, so you can ask questions about the coins you have brought.
How selling worksBuyers pay by immediate EFT. When we buy your coins, we pay by immediate EFT into a bank account in your name once you accept the price. We discuss the documents and transaction arrangements before your visit.
